Tenders are invited for Concrete Surfacing to Sivalingam Shop Road, Navatkadu, Alayadivembu Estimated Cost (Mn) (Excluding VAT): 5.725 Bid Security Amount (Rs.): 57500 Bidding will be conducted through National competitive Bidding & Single Stage Single Envelope System. To be eligible for the award of each contract, the bidder must not be blacklisted and must be currently registered with the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) under the Highway Specialty in the respective grades specified in the tables above. Public Contracts Act: All interested parties must be registered under the Public Contracts Act No. 3 of 1987 with the Registrar of Public Contracts and shall submit a valid Certificate of Registration. Purchasing Bidding Documents: A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Chief Accountant, District Secretariat, Ampara from 16.10.2026 to 01.11.2026 from 09.00 hrs. to 15.00 hrs. upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000.00 for each work. The method of payment will be in cash. Bids shall remain valid until 19.01.2027 and each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as mentioned above. The Bid Security shall remain valid until 16.2.2027. Bids shall be delivered in duplicate to the address below at District Secretary/ Government Agent, District Secretariat, Ampara, on or before 02.11.2026 at 10.30 a.m. Description of Work must be written on the left -hand upper corner of the envelope. Late bids will be rejected. The bids will be opened immediately after the closing time in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend Department Procurement Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, and to cancel the bidding process and reject all bids, at any time prior to the award of Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders or any obligation to inform the affected Bidder or Bidders of the grounds for the Employers action.
