The Riihimäki Water Supply Company (Hereafter The Procurement Unit Or The Client) Requests Bids For The Further Treatment And Final Disposal Service Of Sewage Sludge, As Well As The Transport Service For Further Processing In Accordance With This Request For Tenders And Its Appendices. Transportation, Processing And Final Disposal Of Mechanically Dried Digested Sludge Formed At The Riihimäki Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Dry Matter Content Of The Sludge Has Been 25-30% And The Amount Of Dried Sludge Is Approx. 3,000 T Per Year. Dry Matter Content And Sludge Quantities Are Not Binding. The Concentrations Of Harmful Metals In The Sludge Are Low And Below The Maximum Concentrations Specified In The Ministry Of Agriculture And Forestrys Regulation On Fertilizer Products (No. 24/11). The Concentrations For The Years 2020 - 2026 Are Presented In Appendix 2. This Is A Project That Exceeds The Eu Threshold, To Which The Procurement Act For Special Sectors Applies. In This Procurement, The Lowest Price Is Used As The Basis For Overall Economic Profitability. The Contract Period Is 01.01.2027-31.12.2028 And The Contract Includes The Possibility Of One (1) Two (2) Year Option (2+2). The Procurement Unit Does Not Commit Itself To Specific Procurement Quantities, And The Contract Does Not Create An Exclusive Right For The Service Provider To Carry Out The Procurement.
