Tenders are invited for Navisp el1-134 All-Weather Laser Timing and Ranging Links for Optical Pnt Systems - Expro+ EL1-134 - This activity will investigate innovative techniques to enable continuous optical timing and ranging links under all weather conditions, addressing a key challenge for operational optical PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) systems. Optical satellite-to-ground links, such as those planned for ESAs OpSTAR mission, are vulnerable to atmospheric effects, particularly cloud cover, which can degrade or completely interrupt communications with an Optical Ground Station (OGS). The study will assess and experimentally demonstrate atmospheric transmission enhancement techniques designed to improve link availability under adverse weather conditions.
