Bids Are Invited For Rfp Clinical Review For Bc Children And Youth Disability Benefit

The Ministry Of Children And Family Development (Mcfd) Is Seeking Specialized Clinical Services To Support The Implementation Of The Bc Children And Youth Disability Benefit (Disability Benefit).The Disability Benefit Forms Part Of Mcfds Transition From The Autism Funding Program To A Broader And More Inclusive Disability Support Model Intended To Provide Support, Including Funding And Services, Based On A Child’S Or Youths Demonstrated Functional Needs. As Part Of This Transition To The Disability Benefit Framework, Mcfd Must Assess Documentation Submitted By Current Autism Funding Recipients To Determine Their Eligibility To Transition To The New Disability Benefit.With This Rfp, Mcfd Seeks A Contractor To Establish And Operate A Clinical Review Team Consisting Of Qualified Clinical Professionals. The Clinical Review Team Will Review Ministry-Assigned Files And Supporting Documentation, Including Psychological, Psychoeducational, Medical, Educational, Behavioural, Functional, And Allied Health Information (Files). The Clinical Review Team Will Then Provide To Mcfd Clinical Recommendations And Supporting Rationale Regarding The Child Or Youths Demonstrated Functional Needs Under The Model To Be Established With The Disability Benefit.
