The Purpose Of The Tender Is To Select Lawyers, Natural Persons Or Legal Entities That Havewith Lawyers, For The Provision Of Public Criminal Defense Services To Defendants Who Lacklawyer And Who Are Attributed Participation In A Crime From The First Actions Of Theprocedure Directed Against Him And Until The Complete Execution Of The Sentence, As Appropriate, Whichare Under The Jurisdiction Of Guarantee Courts, An Oral Criminal Court, Or The Cortesrespective. The Above Will Be Carried Out Through The Contracting Of Defense Teams That Will Subscribea Specific Contract In A Bidding Area, From A Regional Ombudsmans Office, As Established In Theannex 1.Annex 1 Will Contain The Call And Calendar Of The Tender, The Estimate Of Causes, Requirementsor Population With Respect To Which Each Defender Must Process Or Through One Of The Members Of Thedefense Team In The Area, As Appropriate, For The Provision Of The Criminal Defense Service, As Well Assuch As The Estimated Percentage Of Causes Or Requirements That Could Be Assigned To The Year And The Amountmaximum Number Of Causes Or Requirements To Be Processed Simultaneously. Additionally, Annex 1 Will Specifythe Guarantee Courts, Courts Of Letters Of Common Jurisdiction, Oral Trial Courts And Therespective Courts, In Which The Tendered Defenders Must Carry Out Their Work, As Well As The Venuespenitentiaries, Internment Centers And Other Establishments In Which The Accused Fulfill Someprecautionary Measure Or Security Measure, As Appropriate.The Provision Of Tendered Public Criminal Defense Service Will Be Understood To Be That Which Requires A Lawyermember Of A Defense Team, Fulfill All The Functions Inherent To The Role Of A Criminal Defenderpublic, Which Includes The Set Of Judicial, Extrajudicial And Administrative Actions Carried Outpersonally The Lawyer Or Through Any Of The Members Of The Defense Team, To Comply Anddiligently And Timely Execute The Provision Of Defense In All Causes Or Requirements Thatwere Assigned As Regular Or Delegated Defender, During All Stages Of The Criminal Process And Untilthe Complete Execution Of The Sentence; And Carry Out Tasks That The Chief Local Defender, The Coordinatorregional Penitentiary, The Regional Head Of Studies Or The Respective Regional Defender Or Whoever Substitutes Himentrusted To You In Relation To Shifts, Coverage Or Other Similar.The Tendered Public Criminal Defense Services May Include The Defense Of Defendants At Any Time.Stage Of The Criminal Process And Its Different Specializations, Such As Juvenile Defense, Indigenous Defense,Of Foreigners, Defense Of Convicted Persons, Among Others, Until The Complete Execution Of The Sentence, Whetherthat Said Compliance And/Or Execution Be In The Closed Environment Or In The Free Environment.The Defense Team Is Understood To Be Made Up Of The Lawyer(S), Administrative Assistants, Andother Specialized Support Members, Who Contribute With Their Work To The Activities Of Providing Thedefense Service. Said Defense Equipment Will Be Determined In Annex 1.
