Rehabilitation Hospital Services – External Service Of Hospital Stays And Outpatient Places For The Neurorehabilitation Treatment Of Users Of The Extremadura Health Service With Sudden Brain Damage, Acute Spinal Cord Injury And Other Non-Degenerative Neurological Damage.. The Healthcare Provision That Consists Of Neurorehabilitation Treatment For Users Of The Extremadura Health Service Affected By Sudden Brain Damage, Acute Spinal Cord Injury And Other Non-Degenerative Neurological Damage. The Provision Of The Service Will Include All The Treatments And Means Necessary To Achieve Maximum Functionality Of The Person, Through The Recovery Of Their Physical, Cognitive, Emotional, Social And Work Capacities, As Well As Attention To Their Basic Needs (Food, Hygiene, Sleep). Assistance Must Also Include Care For The Users Families, Always Focused On Therapeutic Indications And Optimizing The Patients Treatment (Patient Management, Health Education, Emotional Support). The Care Program That Guarantees Compliance With The Object Of The Contract Must Cover Essential Multidisciplinary Treatment Such As Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Neuropsychology, Occupational Therapy And Specialized Medical Assistance With The Aim Of Achieving The Maximum Possible Physical And Functional Recovery Of The Person. For All These Reasons, Adequate Compliance With The Object Of The Contract Requires A Network Of Specific Neurorehabilitation Centers Whose Characteristics And Provision Of Resources, Both Material And Human, Are Detailed In The Technical Prescription Document (Hereinafter Ppt). This Network Will Be Mixed And Will Provide Places In Two Different Regimes, One For Hospitalization Stays And The Other For Outpatient Care Places, The Number, Characteristics And Distribution Of Which Are Described Below. In Accordance With The Estimated Care Needs, A Maximum Of 65,760 Hospital Stays Is Set Throughout The Contract (21,900 Annually Or 21,960 In A Leap Year), Which Corresponds To 60 Patients Per Day That Allow Neurorehabilitation To Be Performed In Hospital. On The Other Hand, For Outpatient Places, A Maximum Of 29,094 Places Is Set Throughout The Contract (746 Working Days: 249 Days In 2027, 247 For 2028 And 250 For 2029, At 39 Patients Per Day).
