Water Meters – Supply And Installation Of Smart Meters And Remote Reading System For The Antequera City Council, Within The Framework Of Sustainable Urban Development, Charged To The European Regional Development Fund (Erdf) Within The Framework Of The Multiregional Program Of Spain 2021-2027. The Remote Reading System Will Improve Knowledge Of Consumption, Optimize Network Operation, Reduce Losses, Detect Leaks And Incidents Early And Strengthen The Municipalitys Resilience Against The Effects Of Climate Change. The Planned Scope Includes 8,248 Smart Meters, Distributed Among Urban Areas, Neighborhoods, Annexes And Industrial Areas Of The Municipality, As Well As The Implementation Of The Communications And Data Exploitation Infrastructure Necessary To Guarantee The Correct Management Of The System. This Solution Will Allow: -Reduce Manual Reading Operating Costs By 80-90% With The Consequent Reduction Of The Carbon Footprint. -Detect Leaks In Real Time, Reducing Water Losses. -Identify Anomalous Consumption And Fraud. -Improve Billing Through Accurate And Updated Readings. -Optimize The Management Of The Distribution Network. -Provide Information To Users To Manage Their Consumption. -Meet Water Sustainability Objectives
