Sp28tgc001 - Site Preparation - Mounding . The Prince George Business Area Is Responsible For The Reforestation Of Tsls And Ensuring That The Harvested Areas Reach The Free Growing Milestone. Site Preparation Is Used In Areas With High Vegetation Competition As A Method To Control The Vegetation Before Planting Or Fill Planting, In Order To Give The Seedlings More Time To Establish. This Contract Is For Mounding Work For The 2027 Field Season, And The Purpose Is To Control Herbaceous Vegetation On Cutblocks Before They Are Replanted Or Fill Planted. This Contract Includes Approximately 13.7 Hectares To Be Mounded. All The Blocks In This Contract Are Where Reforestation Has Failed And Replanting Without Site Preparation Would Not Be Suitable. The Contractor Should Work To Preserve Any Existing, Healthy Crop Trees Where Feasible. Mounding Must Be Completed By October 15, 2027.
