Tenders are invited for Capacity-Building Workshops on Social Cohesion and Related Podcast Development & Production. Closing Date: Sunday, 25. Oct 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Communications & Media Remuneration range: 4000 to 5000 (USD) Duration of Contract: October February 2027. This consultancy aims to design and deliver five participatory and practical capacity-building workshops as part of Saidas communal project, developed by Saidas Youth Core Team. The communal project aims to strengthen social cohesion through the development and production of a youth-led podcast series addressing social cohesion questions in Saida. The capacity-building component aims to equip the Youth Core Team with the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop and produce the podcast and to support their ability to produce future episodes in a sustainable manner. Interested applicants may apply individually or as a team of trainers for one, several, or all five workshops. In all cases, the application shall clearly specify the workshop(s) covered and/or identify the trainer responsible for delivering each one. The awarded consultant/team shall deliver some or all of the four workshops stated below: Training workshop 1 Social Cohesion, Media and Social Media: Social cohesion as perceived by youth living in Saida; the role of media and social media in influencing social cohesion, polarization, and community dynamics; and identification of relevant topics to be addressed through the podcast. Training workshop 2 Podcast Content Development: Development of the content, discussion points, and questions for the podcast episodes, including determining the appropriate profile and selection criteria for guests for each topic. Training Workshop 3 Communication and Presentation Skills: Practical training on communication and presentation skills in front of the camera, interviewing guests, managing dialogue, and applying communication techniques to engage the audience effectively. Training workshop 4 Podcast Filming and Editing: Practical training on basic podcast filming, sound, lighting, equipment use, and editing. Training workshop 5 Podcast Design and Shooting Mock-up: Introduction to how a podcast is designed and how an episode comes to be, including role distribution, role-play, and a practical podcast shooting mock-up. The awarded consultant/team shall also provide practical, on-the-job support to the Youth Core Team throughout the preparation and production of four podcast episodes. This includes guiding youth in episode planning and preparation, reviewing content and interview questions, coaching them in their assigned roles and responsibilities, and providing technical and editorial guidance during the recording and production process. The awarded consultant/team shall demonstrate the ability to perform services during weekends, if required by the project schedule.
