Roadworks – Raising Holy Phase 4. The Municipality Of Vlaardingen Intends To Completely Reconstruct The Public Space In The Wilgendreef, Elzendreef, Ijsselhoevedreef And Part Of The Populierendreef As A Result Of Structural Subsidence Due To The Soft Subsoil. The Work Starts With The Removal Of Existing Paving And Excavation Of The Subsoil, After Which The Area Will Be Raised With Sand To Approximately 0.30-0.70 Meters To Restore The Desired Level. Subsequently, The Sewer System Will Be Renovated And Adapted, Including The Transfer Of House Connections, And Rainwater Will Be Disconnected From The Mixed System Where Possible And Drained To The Open Water Along The Project Area. New Pavements Are Then Installed And The Public Space Is Redesigned, With The Layout Being Optimized Based On Applicable Municipal Policy And The Input Of Residents. During The Implementation, Coordination Takes Place With Utility Companies And Their Work Is Facilitated Where Necessary. Finally, Green Areas Are Restored And Improved Where Possible, Street Furniture Is Installed And Transfer Takes Place To The Municipalitys Management Departments.
