Since December 2021, The Municipalities Of Veenendaal, Rhenen And Renswoude Have Jointly Offered A Municipal Pass For Residents With A Low Income. With The Municipalpas, The Municipalities Of Veenendaal (Veenendaalpas), Rhenen (Cunerapas) And Renswoude (Grebbepas) Want To Offer More Options For Residents With A Low Income. The Municipal Pass Makes Participation Easier For (Financially) Vulnerable Residents. In 2025 (= Reference Year), The Three Municipalities Together Had Approximately 2,100 Applications To Be Processed (A + B) And There Were Approximately 4,850 Pass Holders At The End Of The Pass Year. Approximately 85% Of The Pass Holders Are Granted Officially And Approximately 15% Through An Award Decision On An Application. Municipal Passes Are Issued To Both Adults And Their Children.
