Oew Broadband Gmbh (Oew Bb) Has Been Commissioned By The Municipality Of Betzenweiler To Tender On Its Behalf For Network Operation In The Passive Fiber Optic Network To Be Built In The Municipality. The Municipality Of Betzenweiler, Located In The Biberach District, Is Building A Passive Fiber Optic Network As Part Of The Federal Governments Broadband Funding In The Operator Model To Provide Around 770 Residents With Future-Proof Broadband Connections. The Passive Fiber Optic Infrastructure Built For This Purpose Is To Be Leased To A Network Operator. The Subject Of This Tender Is Exclusively Address Points That Are Developed Via The Dgf Program. The Tender For The Planning Services Is Currently Being Prepared And Is Scheduled To Be Published By The End Of 2026. The Construction Tender Is Expected To Be Carried Out In The Summer Of 2027, And Commissioning Is Expected To Take Place At The End Of 2028. The Municipality Of Betzenweiler As The Client (Ag) Does Not Provide Network Operation Services Or Internet And Telecommunications Services Itself. The Subject Of This Tender Is Therefore The Leasing Of A Passive Fiber Optic Network To A Service Provider Who, By Means Of A Service Concession, Ensures Network Operation As A Contractor (An), As Well As Internet And Telecommunications Services As A Bundled Offer To Private And Commercial End Customers For An Appropriate Fee Remuneration Is Provided. In Addition, The Contractor Is Responsible, Among Other Things, For Offering Customers Both Active And Passive Wholesale Products, Taking Into Account The Information On Wholesale Prices From The Bmds From March 31, 2026 (See Appendix).
