Request for proposals for Evaluation Consultant Location of Work: Bengaluru, India Travel: No travel outside of Bengaluru is required. The Consultant will be reimbursed up to INR 10,000 for travel expenses incurred for two visits to Engineering Discovery schools, one office visit, and two visits to Engineering Academy for onboarding and data collection. Receipts must be provided. Background FHI 360 is a nonprofit organization that mobilizes research, resources and relationships so that people everywhere can access the opportunities they need to lead full, healthy lives. FHI 360 serves more than 70 countries and all U.S. states and territories. Next Engineers is a global post-secondary and career-readiness initiative designed to increase the diversity of young people pursuing engineering pathways. Funded by the GE Aerospace Foundation and managed by FHI 360, an international nonprofit organization, the program provides youth with early exposure to engineering concepts and careers. Through Engineering Discovery, students aged 1315 participate in short, school-based exploratory sessions, while Engineering Academy is a twoyear out-of-school program for students aged 1517 that emphasizes hands-on learning and career coaching. Next Engineers is implemented by FHI 360 and local partners in multiple countries, including the United States, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. The program launched in Bengaluru, India in 2025 and is implemented by FHI 360s local Community Partner, United Way Bengaluru (UWBe), with activities continuing through 2030.
