The Department Of Housing, Local Government And Heritage Is Seeking Tenders For A Dedicated, Enclosed River Cruiser-Class Vessel To Serve As A Scientific Research Platform And Operational Mothership On Lough Ree And The River Shannon Catchment. Both New And Second-Hand Vessels Will Be Considered. The Vessel Must Feature A Maximum Air Draft Of 3.80M, A Maximum Water Draft Of 0.82M, A Minimum Of 5–6 Berths Across 2 Separate Cabins, A Functional Flybridge, And Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Davits For Tender Management. Second-Hand Options Must Have Under 1,000 Certified Engine Hours And Complete Service Logs.
