Bids Are Invited For Light Amphibious Airtanker Services

The Province Invites Respondents To Submit Responses For The Provision Of Light Amphibious Airtanker Services, Which Will Be Provided To Bc Wildfire Service (“Bcws”), A Branch Within The Ministry Of Forests, In Order To Support Bcws In The Management Of Wildfires And Fire Suppression Activities. The Light Amphibious Airtanker Services Include: The Provision Of An Airtanker Group Comprised Of:Five (5) Air Tractor At-802 Fireboss (At802fb) (“Light Amphibious Airtankers”); One (1) Birddog Aircraft; Andall Necessary Aircraft Flight Crews, Maintenance Personnel And One (1) Maintenance Vehicle,Respondents Are Not Required To Have The Light Amphibious Airtankers And Birddog Aircraft At The Closing Date And Time But Are To Specify Each Designated Light Amphibious Airtanker And Birddog Aircraft In The Proposed Airtanker Group In Their Response Including The Information Outlined In Sections 4.1 Of Appendix B Of The Nrsa. Prior To The Closing Date And Time, Respondents Are Required To: (A) Own Or Lease The Light Amphibious Airtankers And/Or Birddog Aircraft Proposed In Their Response As The Airtanker Group; (B) Have A Contract To Purchase Or Lease The Light Amphibious Airtankers And/Or Birddog Aircraft Proposed In Their Response As The Airtanker Group; Or (C) Have A Tentative Purchase Or Lease Agreement In Place For The Light Amphibious Airtankers And/Or Birddog Aircraft Proposed In Their Response As The Airtanker Group, Which Is Subject To The Successful Award Of A Standing Arrangement.Pleasenote: If Successful, The Respondents Are Required To Have The Proposed Airtanker Group In Their Possession By No Later Thanapril 1, 2027, And Available For Inspection For Aircraft Acceptance By Bcws.
