The Municipality Lacks The Necessary Hazard Zone Maps For Flooding In Relevant Waterways, And There Is A Need For Landslide Risk Assessments In Several Areas. In 2026, The Municipality Has Been Promised A Financial Grant From The Norwegian Directorate Of Waterways And Energy (Nve) To Carry Out An Investigation Of Safety Against Landslides In Steep Terrain In Nine Areas And Hazard Zone Mapping Of Floods In Four Waterways. To Ensure A Comprehensive And Efficient Implementation, The Assignment Is Announced As A Single Procurement. The Procurement Will Provide The Municipality With A Basis In Line With Relevant Requirements And Guidelines, Including Nves Guidelines For Flood Mapping And Current Requirements For Safety Against Natural Hazards. The Results Must Be Able To Be Used Further In Planning, Case Management And Preparedness Work. Contract 1: Investigation Of Flood And Avalanche Risk Contract 2: Independent Quality Assurance Control Contract 1 Is Awarded To The Tenderer Ranked As Number One. Contract 2 Will Be Awarded After Evaluation Between The Remaining Tenderers Who Have Not Been Awarded Contract 1, According To The Current Award Criteria. The Delivery Shall Include The Necessary Professional Investigations And Analyzes For The Relevant Areas And Watercourses, Including A Review Of The Available Data Base, Surveys, Relevant Calculations And Modeling As Well As The Preparation Of Reports And Map Products. For The Flood Mapping, The Delivery Must, Among Other Things, Provide A Basis For Identifying Flood-Prone Areas And Associated Flood Zones And Flood Depths.
