The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee on behalf of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority invites sealed bids from interested parties for Bidding document for the Servicing Maintenance of Fire Suppression and Detection Systems in Floats. 2. Bidders are hereby informed that the provisions of the Public Contracts Act No. 3 of 1987 are applicable for tenders exceeding Rs. 5.0 million. Accordingly, all parties involved in each tender are required to strictly abide by the said Act throughout the duration of contract and submit the duly completed registration certificate along with their bid documents. 3. Bidders should have been in the business of similar service at least during the last three years. 4. A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders from Engineering Works Section, Sri Lanka Ports Authority, 45, Leyden Bastian Road, Colombo 01, on the submission of a written application addressed to the Chief Engineer (E & E), from 05.10.2026 until 23.10.2026 from 09:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs upon payment of a non refundable fee of Rs.3,500.00 (Including Taxes) by cash. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 14:00 hrs on 26.10.2026. Late bids shall not be accepted. Bids will be opened at the same address immediately after the closing of tender in the presence of the bidders representatives. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of Rs. 75,000.00 shall be valid up to 120 days commencing from the date of signing the Letter of Award.
