Project: FOSTERING THE POTENTIAL OF LAKE VICTORIA PROGRAMME The East African Community (EAC), represented by the Lake Victoria Basin Commission (LVBC), has received financing from KfW toward the cost of the Fostering the Potential of Lake Victoria (FPLV) Programme and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of a 150 KWp PV Solar Power System with Battery Energy Storage System at the Lake Victoria Basin Commission Headquarters. The LVBC now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the installation works comprising the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a hybrid solar photovoltaic (PV) power system at the LVBC in Kisumu, Kenya, including rooftop-mounted solar PV panels, selected solar-powered parking shade structures, a battery energy storage system, hybrid inverters, energy management and monitoring systems, associated electrical and civil works, and connection to the existing power network. The Contract includes commissioning, user training and a one-year defects liability period, and shall be completed within 150 calendar days from the Commencement Date.
