Expression of Interest for Preparation Support Services and Jet Pipeline Development Technical Assistance (Ta) to Support Beneficiaries in Accessing Jet Funding The Government of South Africa has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of Project Preparation Support Services and JET Pipeline Development and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for the services of a consultant firm to support Project Preparation Support Services and JET Pipeline Development. This operationalises: Supporting JET project originators with JET project preparation to develop fundable projects. Increasing the depth and quality of project evaluations on the JET FP. Building a credible, inclusive pipeline of JET projects for funder referral and support. 2. Objectives of the Assignment: The overall objective of this assignment is to strengthen the JET project pipeline by providing dedicated, high-quality project preparation support services to JET project originators, with a focus on inclusion, quality, and fundability. Under the supervision of Project Coordinator, and the JET Project Management Unit (PMU), the consulting firm will provide the following services: Provide hands-on project preparation assistance to at least 120 JET funding JET project originators, supporting them in developing competitive, fundable applications for JET grant funding (at least 50% women-led, 30% youth-led). Integrate the list of projects receiving project preparation support onto the JET Funding Platform Project Register and maintain the accuracy of the information regarding these projects. Increase the proportion of applications reaching in-depth project evaluation by at least 30%.
