Prequalifications For Private Solar Photovoltaic Installers

Prequalifications are invited for Private Solar Photovoltaic Installers he Ministry of Energy and Green Transition of the Republic of Ghana has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and CIF toward the provision of Off-grid Solar Home Systems within the framework of the Ghana Mini-Grid and Net-Metering Project 2. The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition of the Republic of Ghana, represented by the Scaling Up Renewable Energy (SREP) PIU intends to prequalify contractors for Private off-grid Solar Photovoltaic Installers across four zones (Upper, Northern, Middle belt, coastal) in the country. Two installers will be selected per zone. It is expected that the interested residential and SME clients in un-electrified communities will contact the pre-qualified installers directly for System Design and Engineering, Equipment Supply, Delivery and installation and related services. Subsides up to 40% on systems will be provided by the project. 3. Prequalification will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the African Development Banks Procurement Framework[insert date of applicable Procurement Framework edition approved on October 14, 2015 (Procurement Framework), and is open to all eligible Applicants as defined in the Procurement Framework.
