Descriptionthe Consultancy Agreement Shall Include The Delivery Of Technical Services In Support Of Dsas Core Functions Within Regulatory Work. The Work Will Include Review And Assessment Of Technical Documentation And Support For Dsa In Connection With Inspections. There Are Three Nuclear Power Plants In Norway: The Research Reactor Facilities At Kjeller And In Halden, And The Combined Landfill And Storage Facility For Low And Medium Radioactive Waste In Himdalen. In 2018, The Norwegian Government Established A New State Organisation, Norwegian Nuclear Commissioning (Nnd), Which Will Take Over All Norwegian Nuclear Power Plants At Kjeller, Halden And Himdalen From The Original Operator, The Institute Of Energy Technology (Ife). Nnd Will Be Responsible For The Operation Of The Nuclear Power Plants, Their Decommissioning And The Handling Of Radioactive Waste And Spent Nuclear Fuel. So Far, The Halden Nuclear Power Plant Has Been Transferred From Ife To Nnd, And The Other Two Plants Are Close To Being Transferred. Before Decommissioning Can Begin, There Are A Number Of Processes That Must Be Completed In Order For The Operator(S) To Be Able To Make Changes To The Facilities In A Safe And Responsible Manner, And For The Regulatory Authority (Dsa) To Be Able To Approve Changes In Accordance With Regulations And International Standards. In Preparation For Decommissioning And During Decommissioning, There Will Be A Need To Establish New Waste Management Facilities, Including Plans For An American-Developed Mobile Melt Consolidation Facility (Mmc). The Procurement Is Covered By The Safety Act And Is Reflected In The Clients Requirement Specification And Safety Requirements.
