Work Detail
Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Ggs Vorst Objektplanung. The Vorst Community Primary School (Ggs) Is The Local School For The Vorst And Driesch Districts And Is Run On An Inclusive, Open, Full-Day Basis. School Operations Currently Take Place In Three Classes With Currently 11 And Prospectively From The 2027/2028 School Year With 12 Grade-Separated Classes. 294 Students Currently Attend The School. The School Ensemble Consists Of A Two-Story Existing Building From The Years 1964 And 1974, Which Was Supplemented By An Extension From 2017 (Administrative Area And Open All-Day School - Ogs). In Addition, A Container Module With Two Additional Classrooms Was Built To Cover The Space Requirements. With The Commissioning Of The Administration Wing, The School Is Barrier-Free And Meets The Current Requirements For Inclusion. A Total Of 12 Classrooms Are Currently Available In Existing And Modular Construction. The Ogs Is Housed In The New Building From 2017 And Currently Includes Five Care Rooms And A Cafeteria With Around 50 Seats. There Is Also A Single Gymnasium On The Approximately 12,251 M² School Property. At The Time The Ogs Extension Was Built, The School Was Still Run In Two Classes. The Planning Of All-Day Care Was Based On A Participation Rate Of Around 50%, Corresponding To A Capacity Of Around 120 Places. These Assumptions No Longer Correspond To Actual Needs. In The 2020/2021 School Year, 176 Students Took Part In The All-Day Program; There Are Currently 197 Ogs Places Available. Against The Background Of Increasing Student Numbers, The Established Three-Tier System And A Significantly Increased Need For Care, A Comprehensive Expansion Of The Ogs Is Necessary. As Part Of The Planned New Building, Capacity Is Planned To Be Increased To A Total Of 300 Childcare Places In The Future. This Will Create 103 Additional Places And Further Improve The Quality Of The Existing 190 Places. In Addition To Quantitative Expansion, The Focus Is Particularly On Quality Assurance And Improvement. The Aim Is To Ensure Smooth, Educationally High-Quality And Child-Friendly Care. For This Purpose, The Ogs Lounges Are To Be Expanded To A Total Of 12 Units - Corresponding To The Number Of Classrooms - And The Cafeteria Capacity Is To Be Expanded As Required. The Planning And Implementation Of The New Building Is Carried Out In Close Coordination Between The School Administration, School Management And The Ogs Provider. The Aim Of This Cooperative Approach Is To Develop A Needs-Based, Functional And At The Same Time Sustainable Building That Meets Both The Educational Requirements And The Organizational Processes Of School And All-Day Operations.
