Tenders are invited for Maintenance Contractors for Teaching Hospital, Ragama and affiliated Institutions (Rehabilitation Hospital, Ragama, District Hospital, Kandana, Nurses Training School, Kandana, Thalassemia Unit, Mahara, Jayam Wijayarathnam Cancer Care Center, Ragama and Colombo North Center for Liver Diseases, Ragama) Maintenance Contractors for Colombo North Teaching Hospital, Ragama & Other Affiliated Institutions for the Year 2027 for the Contracts not Exceeding Rs. 3,500,000.00. Chairman, Regional Procurement Committee, Colombo North Teaching Hospital, Ragama now invites sealed pre-qualification documents from eligible and qualified Applicants for Registration of Maintenance Contractors for Teaching Hospital, Ragama and affiliated Institutions (Rehabilitation Hospital, Ragama, District Hospital, Kandana, Nurses Training School, Kandana, Thalassemia Unit, Mahara, Jayam Wijayarathnam Cancer Care Center, Ragama and Colombo North Center for Liver Diseases, Ragama) for the year 2027 (For Contracts with grand total not exceeding Rs. 3,500,000.00) as described below. Work sites are located within the hospitals and other institutions. Works should be carried out without disturbing normal functions of hospitals and other institutions. The contract period may vary. The work consists of day to day emergency repairs, plumbing, sewerage, structural works, electrical works, painting, concrete works, Aluminium works, Brick works, Air conditioning, waterproofing, etc. Pre-qualifying is done according to following shopping procedure in the Procurement Manual 2024 published by the National Procurement Commission. Contractors will be registered under institutions. To be eligible for contract award, the successful contractors shall not have been blacklisted and shall meet the following requirements: Specialty Building, Electrical, Air conditioning, Plumbing Grade : C9 and above or EM5 and above Qualification requirements for contract award include: Contractor should have worked at least in last two years as a successful maintenance/main contractor. Contractor should have ability to immediately attend the repair work and successfully complete work while hospitals/institutions are functioning. Certified supportive documents shall be submitted for every answer for acceptability. A complete set of pre-qualification application documents in English language may be purchased by interested contractors on submission of a written application to the Chief Accountant, Colombo North Teaching Hospital, Ragama from 01.10.2026 until 22.10.2026 during normal office hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,500.00. The method of payment is cash, paid to Shroff, Colombo North Teaching Hospital, Ragama.
