Tenders are invited for Provision of Security Services for the Ministry of Environment - 2027. 1. Sealed bids are invited under the National Competitive Bidding procedure from eligible bidders for the provision of the aforementioned service to the Ministry of Environment for the year 2027 from 01 January 2027, to 31 December 2027 by the Chairman of the Ministry Procurement Committee (Minor) of the Ministry of Environment, located at "Sobadam Piyasa", No. 416/C/1, Robert Gunawardena Mawatha, Battaramulla. 2. Interested bidders may submit bids using application forms obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,500.00 to the Shroff Division of the Ministry of Environment. Set of bid applications can be obtained from the Accounts Division between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. from 01.10.2026 to 20.10.2026. 3. When submitting bids, information about the service experience and operational capability of the institution should be substantiated. (Copies of the relevant certificates should be attached with the application.) 4. Bids perfected in two copies (02) placed in two separate envelopes and marked "Original" and "Duplicate" respectively and then enclosed in a single sealed envelope marked as "Provision of Security Services for the Ministry of Environment - 2027" at the top left corner should be sent via registered post to the address given below before 10:00 a.m. on 21.10.2026. Alternatively, bids may be deposited in the bid box located in the Administration Division on the first floor of the "Sobhadam Piyasa" office complex. Late bids and bids sent electronically will not be accepted and will be rejected without notice. Bids will be opened immediately after the closing of bid acceptance and tenderers who have submitted bids, or their representatives, may attend the opening with a letter from the relevant organization. 5. The Minor Procurement Committee of the Ministry of Environment reserves the right to accept or reject these bids, either in whole or in part thereof, and the decision of the Minor Procurement Committee of the Ministry of Environment in this regard shall be final.
