Based On This, It Has Been Decided That The Housing Must Be Located In Ågotnes Or Straume. Attached To The Competition Is The Geographical Delimitation For The Two Locations. This Is Based On Strategies For Work With The Area Part Of The Municipal Plan 2027-2039, With Minor Adjustments. There Is An Increasing Need For Care Homes In The Municipality, Both Now And In The Future. Users Of The New Residences Will Be Elderly, With Or Without Dementia, Who Function With A Certain Degree Of Independence. These Are People Who Have Services That Are More Extensive Than The Home Services Can Currently Offer In Their Own Home. The Project Must Qualify For Investment Grants From The Housing Bank And Fulfill The Housing Banks Guidelines For The Location And Design Of Care Buildings. The Municipality Will Handle The Application Against The Housing Bank. After The Housing Banks Application Has Been Approved, The Municipality Will Apply For Partial Payment Of The Subsidy For The Offer. This Constitutes 40 Per Cent Of The Investment Subsidy.
