Bids Are Invited For Preparedness, Resiliency And Emergency Pods Program Development

The Fraser Valley Regional District Invites Proposals From Qualified Proponents To Provide Professional Services For Two Interrelated, Stand-Alone Projects To Be Delivered Under A Single Contract. The Work Includes The Full Replacement Of Fvrd’S 2018 Emergency Preparedness Guide With A New, Accessible Four-Phase Guide That Aligns With The Fvrd Hazard Report, Emergency Management Program Policy, Emergency Management Plan, And Related Emergency Management Priorities; And Develop, Design, And Complete The Preparedness, Resiliency, And Emergency Pods Program (“Prep”).Prep Must Be Designed Using The Strategy, Framework, And Memorandum Of Understanding Previously Developed By Fvrd Staff, And Must Build Directly Upon The New Emergency Preparedness Guide. The Guide And Prep Program Must Be Intentionally Integrated, With Corresponding Content, Tools, And Participant Interactions That Support Residents And Communities Through The Four Phases Of Emergency Management: Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, And Recovery. Together, These Deliverables Will Strengthen Individual And Community Preparedness, Build Local Capacity And Knowledge, Foster Collaborative Networks, And Address Regional Emergency Management Challenges.
