The Winter Maintenance Of The Municipal Road Network And The Streets In The Populated Areas On The Territory Of The Municipality Of Madjarovo Includes A Complex Of Activities Aimed Atremoving And Limiting The Adverse Impact Of Snow And Ice On Traffic Conditions During The Winter Period. It Is Expressed In Snow Clearing And Sanding Of Road Lanes, Snow Removal, Collection And Transmission Of Information About The Condition Of The Road Network. Preparation Of An Operational Plan For Winter Maintenance, Snow Removal And Sandblasting. The Following Types Of Work Are Planned:• 3Rd Maintenance - Consisting In Patching Dangerous Deep Holes Formed In The Asphalt Pavement On Municipal Roads With A Depth Of 4 To 6 Cm And Repair And Restoration Of Curbs And Cleaning Of Drains. This Type Of Work Is Commissioned By The Contracting Authority As Needed, By Pre-Measuring The Square Footage Of Roads, Sidewalks And Culverts On Which It Is Urgently Necessary To Restore The Safe Movement Of Road Vehicles In Winter Conditions. Patching Can Be Done With Cold And/Or Warm Asphalt Mixtures;• Snow Removal Including Snow Removal From The Municipal Roads Of The Municipality Of Madjarovo — Mechanized Snow Removal From The Road And Street Lanes, Which Will Be Carried Out With Specialized Equipment, Which Will Not Allow Side Roads And Streets To Be Blocked. The Sand (Washed And Sifted) For The Sand-Salt Nemes Must Meet The Following Quality Requirements: The Shape Of The Grains Cubic; Maximum Grain Size 4 Mm; Content Of Lumps Of Clay And Friable Grains — Not Allowed; Content Of Washable Particles Of Less Than 5%.
