Work Detail
Plasterboard Works – City Of Bad Oldesloe: New Extension To Ida-Ehre-Schule; Drywall Work. The Ida-Ehre-Schule Bad Oldesloe, A Community School With A Sixth Form, Is To Be Expanded At Its Olivet-Allee Location. As Part Of An Urban Planning Analysis, An Unpaved Open Space In The North-East Of The School Grounds Was Selected. This Construction Site Is Connected To Olivet-Allee And Hamburger Straße. The Additional Need For Usable Space For Technical And Upper School Classes As Well As Areas For Students Stay And Leisure Time Was Determined In A Feasibility Study. The New Building Will Also Contain Rooms For Music Lessons And School Social Work. A Three-Story, Staggered Building Is Planned With A Gross Floor Area Of Approximately 1,650 M2 And A Usable Area Of Approximately 1,100 M2, Plus A 200 M2 Terrace On The 1St Floor. Renovation Measures In A Peripheral Location, Located At The Unattractive Back Of The Existing Sports Hall, Urban Development Connections To Existing Building Ensembles Are Difficult To Establish. The Task Of The New Building Is Therefore To Create A New, Independent Environment For Students Both Indoors And Outdoors. A Compact Cubature And A Roof Terrace To The North Counteract The Prevailing Lack Of Schoolyard And Leisure Space. The Main Entrance To The Building Faces South, Towards Olivet-Allee And The Entrances To The Cafeteria And Festival Hall. A Spacious Foyer Forms The Start Of An Open And Permeable Spatial Concept. Community Learning Zones Form The Center Of Each Floor, With Classrooms, Access And Sanitary Rooms Attached. Unnecessary Traffic Areas Are Avoided In Order To Create More Space For Students To Stay And Interact. This Corresponds To The Idea Of Modern Learning Concepts. The Facade Of The Building Is Characterized By Spacious, Floor-To-Ceiling Windows, Which Are In Keeping With The Open And Transparent Overall Concept Of The Design. The Western Facade Is Special Because It Has To Be Designed Without Openings For Fire Protection Reasons. Thanks To Ceramic Cladding, This Facade Still Makes A Decisive Contribution To The Appearance Of The New Building. The Shiny Ceramic Surfaces Are Also Reflected In The Recessed Entrance Areas. They Form A Deliberate Contrast To The Otherwise Light Plastered Facade. The Foyer And Entrance Area Is Designed For Flexible Use. When Open, It Connects The North And South Outdoor Areas And Represents A Protected Break Room. The Lighting, Sound And Stage Technology Offers The Opportunity To Host Smaller Events. The Northern Part Can Be Converted Into A Third Music Room Using A Mobile Wall. This Usage Unit Also Includes Exercise And Collection Rooms. Also Located On The Ground Floor, The School Social Work Area Offers A Group Exercise Room And Six Offices, Along An Expanded Hallway With A Tea Kitchen And Seating Area
