The Maximilians Bridges Are Located In District 01, Altstadt-Lehel And Continue Along Maximilianstrasse Over The Isar To The Maximilianeum. They Are Divided Into Two Parts Of The Bridge - The Inner (Bw33/11 A) And The Outer (Bw33/11 B) Maximilian Bridge. The Western Section Of The Bridge, The Inner Maximilians Bridge, Connects The West Bank Of The Great Isar With The Prater Island. The Eastern Section Of The Bridge, The Outer Maximilians Bridge, Crosses The Kleine Isar And The Auer Mühlbach From The Prater Island. The Bridge Is A Listed Building. The Maximiliansbrücken Have The Following Lanes: 1X Miv In Each Direction Of Travel, 1X Tram Lane In Each Direction Of Travel And 1X Pedestrian And Cycle Path In Both Directions. The Bridge Was Built Between 1857 And 1863 As An Extension Of Maximilianstrasse To The Maximilianeum And Was Added In 1904. The Structures, Separated By Two Islands, Are Designed As Natural Stone Vault Bridges Made Of Natural Ashlar Stone (Shell Limestone). The Pillar Foundations Are Made Of Concrete With Natural Stone Cladding. The Support Benches Are Made Of Granite. Inner Maximiliansbrücke Is A 3-Span Bridge. The Type Of Construction Is A Brick And Natural Stone Vault. Building Materials Are Concrete, Brick And Shell Limestone Cladding. Outer Maximiliansbrücke Is A 2-Span Arched Bridge. The Type Of Construction Is A Three-Hinged Arch Made Of Shell Limestone. The Building Materials Used To Cover The Elevation Are Shell Limestone. In The Course Of An Expert Opinion From The “Schiessl-Gehlen-Sodeikat” Office In 2017, Damage Was Discovered At The Maximilians Bridges. In Order To Examine The Bridge Deck And Assess The Bridge Sealing, Several Examination Points Were Arranged Across Both Bridge Structures. The Structure And Condition Of The Individual Layers Were Examined. To Check Whether Water Containing Chloride Had Already Penetrated The Concrete Of The Road Slab, Drilling Dust Samples Were Also Taken For Analysis In The Laboratory. The Apparent Condition Of The Sealing Was Good In Most Areas. Detachments And Reduced Adhesion Between Individual Components Of The Bitumen Waterproofing Were Found At Two Test Sites. This Is Probably A Manufacturing-Related Local Material Defect. No Damage Caused By External Influences Was Found. The Subsequent Chloride Analysis Confirms The Functionality Of The Seal. In All Areas Examined, The Chloride Levels Were Unremarkable
