Bc Hydro Intends To Issue Rfp 24703 – Vegetation Consulting Services To Establish Contracts With Multiple Qualified Suppliers To Support Vegetation Management Programs And Forestry-Related Capital Projects Throughout The Province Of British Columbia. Services May Include Distribution Vegetation Consulting Services, Transmission Vegetation Consulting Services, And Capital Forestry Consulting Services. Typical Activities May Include Hazard Tree Identification And Assessment, Vegetation Planning And Inspections, Vegetation Outage Investigations, Transmission Right-Of-Way Assessments, Access Planning, Timber And Wildfire Danger Tree Assessments, Permitting And Consenting Support, Stakeholder And Landowner Engagement, Project Planning, Coordination, Documentation, And Related Forestry Consulting Services. Services Will Be Performed On An As-Required Basis Across British Columbia. Bc Hydro Anticipates Awarding Multiple Contracts. Suppliers Will Be Required To Demonstrate Appropriate Safety Qualifications, Including Safecontractor Prequalification, Proof Of Insurance, And Quality Management Processes.
