Flood Prevention Works – Hws Weiße Elster, Gera Zwötzen To Gera Liebschwitz, New Flood Protection System On The Left, Ba 2.3. The Free State Of Thuringia, Represented By The Thuringian State Office For The Environment, Mining And Nature Conservation (Tlubn), Is Planning Measures To Sustainably Improve Flood Protection For The City Of Gera On The White Elster In Gera-Zwötzen To Gera-Liebschwitz. The Project Will Be Implemented In Phases. The Subject Of This Construction Description Is Construction Section 2.3 - Flood Protection System On The Left (Hws Left), Including Foreshore Removal. The Flood Protection Wall Between The Zwötzener Bridge And The Zwötzen Railway Bridge Must Be Rebuilt. An Approx. 200 M Long Flood Protection Wall Is To Be Built As A Sheet Pile Wall With A Concrete Cladding On A Partially Recessed Route. A Further 200 M Of Sheet Piling Will Be Erected With Embankment On Both Sides.
