Senior Centers (Residence And Day Care Center) Are Social Centers That Offer Accommodation, Coexistence And Comprehensive Care To Older People, With The General Objective Of Improving Their Quality Of Life, And Specifically, Maintaining And Restoring Their Functional Capacities While Providing Support To The Family. The Sheltered Apartments Are Conceived As Accommodation Facilities, With Some Common Services, For Older People With Personal Autonomy, Constituting An Alternative For Coexistence That Aims To Provide The Older Person With A Way Of Life Similar To The One They Would Lead In Their Own Home, Avoiding Their Institutionalization. Currently, The Services Covered By This Contract Are Provided By A Company Through A Service Contract, The Validity Of Which Ends On March 31, 2027. Continuity In The Provision Of The Aforementioned Services Is Essential For The Proper Functioning Of The Center, To Achieve The Aforementioned Purposes. The Services Object Of This Contract Cannot Be Carried Out With The Means Of This Administration, Since They (Material Means And Personnel) Are Neither Sufficient Nor Adequate, Without Their Expansion Being Foreseen On The Other Hand, So It Is Necessary And Essential To Resort To External Means And Proceed To Contract The Services, In Order To Guarantee Adequate Attention To The Users Of The Aforementioned Center.
