The Ministry Of Transportation And Transit (Mott) Is Responsible For The Planning, Improvement, And Maintenance Of The Provincial Highway Network In British Columbia. Mott Regional Property Services Staff Are Responsible For The Acquisition Of Property And Property Rights To Facilitate Highway Construction And Improvement Projects, And The Services Of Legal Surveyors Is Required In Support Of These Activities. Mott Indigenous Relations Staff Also Require Legal Survey Services In Support Of Tenure Negotiations With First Nations, To Facilitate Dedication Of Highway, Or Provide Historical Research Services Within Or Adjacent To Reserve Lands.The Purpose Of This Request For Proposal Is To Procure As-And-When Legal Survey Services Contracts In The Northern Regional Office For An Initial Two-Year Term, With An Optional One-Year Extension. Both British Columbia Land Survey (Bcls) And Canada Land Survey (Cls) Services Are Required. The Ministry Will Award Up To 10 Contracts Valued At $500,000. The Contractor Will Provide All Services On An As And When Required Basis. The Contractor Shall Not Be Entitled To A Minimum Guarantee Of Work In Association With The Contract. Under Such Arrangements The Contractor Is Essentially On Call”.
