The Fort Valley Utility Commission (Fvuc) Will Accept Sealed Bids From Qualified Contractors For Labor Associated With Theconstruction Of The Electric Primary Feeder System Serving The Blue Bird Expansion Project In Fort Valley, Georgia.The Project Generally Consists Of Construction And Installation Of A 7.2 Kv Phase-To-Ground / 12.47 Kv Phase-To-Phase,Three-Phase Underground Electric Distribution System, Including Undergroundprimary Cable And Conduit Systems,Pad-Mounted Transformers, Pme Switchgear, Primary Metering Equipment, Terminating Cabinets, Vaults, Pads, Grounding,Terminations, Testing, Commissioning, And Associated Work As Described In The Statement Of Work And Construction Drawings.This Project Shall Be Bid On A Labor-Only Basis. Fort Valley Utility Commission Will Furnish The Major Electrical Materialsrequired For Construction As Identified In The Contract Documents. The Contractor Shall Furnish All Labor, Supervision, Qualifiedpersonnel, Construction Equipment, Tools, Transportation, Testing Equipment, Safety Equipment, And Other Labor-Related Itemsnecessary To Provide A Complete Installation Of Fvuc-Furnished Materials.The Project Completion Date Shall Be Tbd By Parrish Construction And Blue Bird.Bids Will Be Considered Only From Experiencedand Properly Licensed Contractors Regularly Engaged In Electric Utilityconstruction Of Similar Type And Magnitude.
