With This Announcement, Metsähallitus Is Requesting Bids For The Production Of A Waterway Transport Service To Vallisaari For The Years 2027–2029. The Purpose Of The Water Route Is To Transport Visitors To Vallisaari From Helsinkis Kauppatori. The Vallisaari Connection Is The Only Route Connecting The Island To The Mainland, Which Is Estimated To Have 50,000 Passengers Annually. The Helsinki Biennale Aims For 120,000 Visitors In Vallisaari In 2027 And 120,000 Visitors In 2029. Based On The Tender, One Service Provider Will Be Selected. A More Detailed Description Of The Route Is Presented In Appendix 1 Of The Request For Tender. The Customer Is Not Bound By The Estimates Of Procurement Quantities Presented In The Request For Tender. The Open Procedure In Accordance With Section 32 Of The Procurement Act 1397/2016 Is Used In Procurement.
