The Children And Families Service In The London Borough Of Hackney Plans Invites Expressions Of Interest From Qualified Organisations From The Voluntary, Community, And Independent Sectors To Join Its Framework For Disabled Children’S Services For The Below Category:Lot 4-Domiciliary Careall Providers Delivering Services Under This Service Lot Must Have Been Registered With The Cqc To Provide A Domiciliary Care Service To Children Under 18 Years Of Age.Services In This Lot Will Deliver Personal Care To Disabled Children In Their Own Homes. Services Will Provide Safe And Person Centred Care To Children Which Recognises Their Unique Needs.Services Will Support Disabled Children To Get Ready For The Day Ahead Or Prepare For Bed In The Evening Including:Assisting The Child With Dressing/Undressing; Getting Up From Bed, And Returning To Bed; Using Amechanical Hoist Or Assisted Movement Techniques Where The Child Is Unable To Transfer From Orto A Bed, Chair, Toilet, Commode Or Other Without Assistanceassisting With Feeding (Especially Peg Feeding)Assisting With Bathing And Washing, Shaving, Hair Care, Skin Care, Denture And Mouth Care, Fingernail Care And Foot Care (But Not Including The Cutting Of Toenails)Assisting The Child With Dressing And/Or Toileting - Toileting May Also Include Emptying And Changing Catheter And Colostomy Bags. To Assist The Child With Managing Continence, Including Changing Continence Pads And Soiled Bed Linen As Required. To Assist With Menstrual Care Where Required.Support Commissioned Through This Lot Will Either Be For On-Going Personal Care, Which Will Usually Be Long Term, Or For Short Term Care And Support Where An Emergency Or Change Of Circumstances For A Disabled Child Requires The Delivery Of A Time Limited Support Offer.We Are Looking For Providers Who Will Work In Partnership With The Local Authority To Embed Systemic, Trauma Informed And Anti Racist Practice Within Their Service Delivery, Promoting Psychological Safety, Inclusion And Collaboration With Children And Families. Through This Framework, Hackney Is Focused On Driving Up Quality And Improving Outcomes, Supported By Robust Contract Management, Performance Monitoring And Reporting.
