This Award Procedure Concerns The Award Of Services For The Complete Planning And Development Of The Detailed Design Of The Future Cutter North Sea With Methanol-Electric Propulsion For The Project: Zukunftskutter Nordsee (Kuno) Of The Emden/Leer University Of Applied Sciences. The Aim Of The Overall Project Is The Development, Construction And Test Operation Of An Innovative, Climate-Neutral Fishing Vessel Using A Methanol-Electric Drive. The Resulting Demonstrator Is Intended To Serve As A Positive Blueprint For Future-Oriented, Ecologically And Economically Sustainable Coastal Fishing In The German Bight And To Enable This Beyond The Year 2040. In Addition To The Climate-Neutral Drive Technology With Green Methanol, Special Attention Is Paid To The Multifunctionality And Modularity Of The Fishing Vessel In Order To Meet The Needs Of Different Fishing Methods And Uses. This Enables Flexible Changes In The Use Of An Already Built Fishing Vessel By The Respective Owner, As Well As The Construction Of Small Series Of The Same Design For Different Owners. In Addition, The Aforementioned Research Project Focuses On Detailed Stability Considerations (Calculations, Simulations And Tests) Of Critical Driving Conditions In Various Operating Modes In Order To Ensure The Safety Of The Vehicle Over A Long Period Of Use And The Associated Changes In Use And Necessary Modifications And To Point Out Safety Risks To Potential Future Owners.
