The Ministry Of Forests Is Inviting Qualified And Experienced Proponents To Submit A Proposal For Prescription Development For Operational Wildfire Fuel Reduction Treatments In The Prince George Forest District. The Prescription Development, And The Project Work That Will Happen Therein (To Be Advertised Later), Will Serve To Help Achieve The Fuel Management Objectives Of The Crown Land Wildfire Risk Reduction (Clwrr) Program.The Services Required For This Project Will Occur Over Two Phases: 1) Reconnaissance And 2) Fuel Management Prescription Development. Phase 1 Will Include Identifying And Describing Fuel Treatment Units Through Maps And Reconnaissance Surveys. Phase 2 Will Consist Of Field Layout, And Professional Assessments. The Project Will Span Three Terms,With An Estimated 280 Hectares Over All Three Terms. Term 1 Will Focus On Domano, Located South Of In Prince George. Term 2 And Term 3 Will Focus On Haldi, Miworth And Upper Pidherny.Additional Hectares Could Be Added To Term 1, If Contractor Is Able To Demonstrate Acceptable Performance In Line With The Work Schedule. All Additional Hectares And Terms Are Subject To Funding And Approval From Ministry.All Services For Term 1 Are To Be Delivered By March 31, 2027.
