The Assignment Concerns The Architectural Development Of The Renovation, Including The Outdoor Space, Of The Montessori Vaklyceum At Vondellaan 83 In Groningen. The Assignment Includes The Preparation, Design And Further Development Of Future-Proof Educational Housing, In Line With The Ambitions Of Public Education Groningen And The Municipality Of Groningen. The Renovation Consists Of The Retention Of Approximately 1,300 M² Of The Existing Building From 1968 And The Realization Of Approximately 4,000 M² Of New Construction, Together Approximately 5,300 M² Gfa. The Existing Building Part From 1968 Represents An Important Cultural-Historical Value And Is Therefore Not Just An Existing Building That Will Be Preserved, But An Essential Starting Point For The Design Assignment. In Addition To The Building, The Immediate Outdoor Space Is Also Part Of The Design Brief.
