Knowsley Mbc Are Currently Undergoing A Respite Review And Are Looking At Piloting A Bookable Planned Residential And Residential Emi Respite Provision In The Borough. The Council Therefore Wishes To Engage With Providers To Pilot A Residential And Residential Emi Respite Service In Knowsley. The Requirement Is For One Residential And One Residential Emi Respite Bed Provision In Knowsley. We Require Respite Provision Commencing 01 July 2026 For A Period Of 12 Months With An Option To Extend For Up To 12 Months In Aggregate. We Are Seeking 2 Beds (One Residential And One Residential Emi) On A Block Contract. These May Be Located In One Location Or Across A Couple Of Locations Depending On The Offers Available From The Market. Subject To Sufficient Demand. The Provider Shall Deliver The Determined Care Needs Of The Service User By Ensuring That A Temporary Care Plan Is Implemented Within 24 Hours Of Admission With A View To A Flexible Care Plan Being In Place Within 4 Days Of Their Stay.We Would Like To Take The Opportunity To Do Some ‘Soft Market Testing’ As Outlined Below, To Determine:• Current Interest Levels In The Market• Capacity Of The Market• Barriers To Delivery
