The General Objective Of The Study Is To Measure The Demand And Characterize The Public Transportation Supply Associated With Rural Bus Services In The Province Of Cachapoal.From The General Objective, The Following Specific Objectives Emerge:A. Identify And Characterize The Public Transportation Services That Circulate In The Province Of Cachapoal, Including, Among Other Aspects; The Location Of The Terminals, The Route Meshes, Cycle Times, Return Points Of The Services, Locations Of The Stops And/Or Stops, Number Of Fleet Per Company And Service.B. Quantify The Passenger Demand For Each Of The Rural Bus Services Offered To Users, Through The Registration Of The Number Of Passengers Classified According To Predefined Typology, Which Enters A Sample Of Buses In A Predefined Time Interval.C. Generate Georeferenced Maps Graphing Demand Levels At The Level Of Stops And Sectors.D. Determine The Real Frequency Of Each Service Offered To Users, Based On The Record Of Bus Departures From The Terminals Of Each Line Under Study.E. Carry Out A Study Of Fares Canceled By Passengers When Entering Each Bus, Including The Record Of Passengers Who Do Not Pay And Those Who Pay A Fraction Of The Total Fare Corresponding To Their Category.F. Propose New Economically Profitable Service Routes, Considering The Results Of The Demand.
