Tenders are invited for Construction of the Main Irrigation Canal from the Maiden Tower Reservoir Project The Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, Administration of Facilities under Construction PLE now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction, testing, commissioning and handover of approximately 51.994 km of reinforced-concrete-lined main irrigation canal with a design discharge of 50 m³/s from the Qiz Qalasi (Maiden Tower) Reservoir to the Bas Mil/Mil-Mugan irrigation system in the Jabrayil and Fuzuli districts. The Works include major earthworks and embankments, canal lining, intake and regulator structures, chute and energy-dissipation structures, flood-conveyance and cross drainage structures, road and pedestrian bridges, a railway crossing, service and access roads, drainage and seepage-control systems, hydro-mechanical works, testing, commissioning, training and handover. The Time for Completion for the whole of the Works is 1,080 days from the Commencement Date.
