This Request For Proposals (The “Rfp”) Is An Invitation By The Corporation Of The City Of Nelson (The “City”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For 2026-P-06 Development Cost Charge (Dcc) Bylaw As Further Described In Section A Of The Rfp Particulars (Appendix B) (The “Deliverables”). The City Of Nelson Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Consultants To Develop An Equivalent Development Cost Charges (Dccs) Bylaw To Replace The Existing Connection Fee Framework Outlined In Fees & Charges Bylaw No. 3092, 2008 (Schedule “L”, “P” And “Q”. This Includes A Review And Update Of The Proposed Capital Project Lists With Cost Estimates And Preparation Of All Documents And Public And Stakeholder Consultation.The Estimated Budget For This Project Is $80,000 Plus Gst.It’S The City Intent To Have This Work Completed By End Of July, 2027.
