Tenders Are Invited For Supported Accommodation And Hmo Provision For Young People Aged 18-25

Market Research Questionnairecheshire East Council Is Undertaking A Market Research Exercise To Better Understand The Availability, Capacity And Capability Of Accommodation Providers Operating Within North Cheshire, Including Macclesfield And The Surrounding Areas To Support Young People Aged 18 To 25. The Council Is Seeking To Engage With Organisations That Currently Provide, Or Are Interested In Providing, Supported Accommodation And/Or Housing In Multiple Occupation (Hmo) Accommodation For Young People. This Includes Providers That Are Currently Registered Or Are Willing And Able To Become Registered In Accordance With The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations And Any Relevant Statutory Requirements. The Council Has An Ongoing Requirement To Source Suitable Accommodation And Support Options For Young People With A Range Of Needs, Including Care Leavers, Homeless Young Adults And Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (Uasc). Provision Should Promote Independence, Wellbeing, Education, Employment And Successful Transitions Into Adult Life Through The Delivery Of Safe, Appropriate Accommodation Combined With Effective Support. Through This Engagement, The Council Wishes To Gain A Greater Understanding Of: -Existing Supported Accommodation And Hmo Provision Within North Cheshire And Surrounding Localities. -Current And Future Accommodation Capacity Available For Young People Aged 18 To 25. -Providers' Experience Of Supporting Care-Experienced Young People And Uasc. -Registration Status And Willingness To Become A Registered Supported Accommodation Provider Where Applicable. -Property Portfolios, Including Current And Planned Developments. -Support Models, Staffing Arrangements And Delivery Approaches. -Market Appetite For Future Commissioning, Framework Arrangements, Dynamic Purchasing Systems Or Other Procurement Opportunities. -Potential Barriers, Risks And Opportunities Associated With Delivering Accommodation And Support Services Within The Cheshire East Area.
