Tenders Are Invited For Framework Agreement - Risk Assessments For The Norwegian Maritime Directorate

The Norwegian Maritime Directorate Needs To Enter Into A Framework Agreement On Consultancy Assistance Within Risk Analysis And Other Safety-Related Issues. The Agreement Shall Give Us Access To Capacity And/Or Specialist Expertise, As Well As Independent Professional Assessments If A Case Requires It. The Assistance Will Support The Directorates Work With Maritime Safety, The Environment And Preparedness. The Assignments Will, Among Other Things, Be About Surveying The Industrys Work Within Risk Management, Safety And Security. This Includes Examining Whether Assessments Have Been Made In Accordance With Regulations, Recognized Practice And Set Targets. The Assignments May Also Apply To The Authorities Own Risk Management, Including Method Development And Further Development Of The Directorates Analysis Work In The Light Of New Knowledge And Technology. Certain Assignments Will Be More Investigative — To Clarify The Status Of A Specialist Field, The Knowledge Base In An Area, Or The Risk Picture For A Specific Vessel Group Or Activity. Awarding Of Contracts Under The Framework Agreement May Vary From Year To Year Depending On Allocations And Whether The Norwegian Maritime Directorate Will Also Coordinate Other Agencies Project Funds Within The Area. The Norwegian Maritime Directorate Cannot Therefore Give Any Guarantees For Turnover During The Agreement Period For The Framework Agreement
