Metsähallitus Nature Services Is Requesting Bids For Tree Harvesting At Restoration Sites In Kauhajoki, Isojoki And Karvia. The Furthest Distance Between Logging Sites Is About 50 Km As The Crow Flies. Timber Harvesting Includes Thinning And Ditch Line Felling Carried Out In Winter. Harvesting Sites Are Generally Weak In Terms Of Bearing Capacity. The Felling Must Be Carried Out Between 1 January 2027 And 31 March 2027 And 1 January 2028 And 31 March 2028, But Due To Compelling Weather Conditions, The Felling Period Can Be Extended From 1 January 2029 To 31 March 2029. The Total Amount Of Wood To Be Felled Is Approximately 3100 M³, Which Is Divided Into Approximately 1900 M3 For The Winter Of 2027 (4 Work Site) And 1200M3 (2 Work Sites) For The Winter Of 2028. If The Harvesting Conditions Permit, In The Winter Of 2027 We Can Already Start Making The 2028 Sites (6 Work Sites In Total). Accumulation Per Hectare Is An Average Of 40 M³/Ha. For Felling Patterns With Only Ditch Line Felling, The Fee Is Based On Renewal Felling. In Felling Patterns, Where Thinning Is Done In Addition To Ditch Line Felling, Taxa Is Used For Growth Felling. Logging Does Not Include The Driving Of Logging Residues. Harvesting Will Only Start At All Work Sites After A Permit Has Been Obtained From Metsähallitus. The Offer Is Requested As A Multiplier Based On Metsähallitus Fee Table. Based On The Tender, One Contract Partner Will Be Selected.
