The Spui Complex, Which Houses The City Hall Of The Municipality Of The Hague, Was Completed In 1995 And Many Of The Building-Related Facilities, Including The Data Cabling Installation, Date From That Year. In 2025, Research Was Conducted Into The Requirements To Meet The Municipalitys Ict Objectives In The Coming Years. This Research Has Shown That The Current Cabling (Cat5) Is Technically Very Outdated (Nen2767 Condition Score 5) And No Longer Meets The Municipal Standard And That Essential Parts Are No Longer Available. Employees Are Already Experiencing Inconvenience In The Core Of Spui, Such As Slow Connections And Stuttering Ms Teams Calls. Without Replacement, Business Operations Will Be Jeopardized In The Long Term. The Scope Of This Tender Procedure Relates To The Replacement Of The Data Cabling Installation In The Spui Complex. The Data Cabling Installation Contains Approximately 4,200 Connection Points And 275 Kilometers Of Cabling. The Assignment Concerns The Targeted Replacement Of Outdated Data Cabling In Critical Places To Cat.7 Data Cables And The Optimization Of The Wi-Fi Network (Cabling) Within The Spui Complex. Because This Scope Is Inextricably Linked To Adjusting The Sers (Satellite Equipment Room), Cabling And Capacity, The Order Is Supplemented With The Aforementioned Scope And Marketed As A Whole. The Scope Of The Assignment Consists In Summary Of The Following: Replacing The Existing Cat.5 Fast-Ethernet Cabling For Cat.7 Cabling; Replacing The Connectivity (Outlets) At The Workplaces; Installing Patch Panels In The Mers (Main Equipment Room) And Sers; Applying Numbering Of The Outlets And Patch Panels; Testing And Certification Based On 10Gb Over Max. 100M For Cat.7; The Following Activities Are Explicitly Outside The Scope Of The Assignment: Replacing Any Active Equipment; Electrical Installation Including Sockets; The Available Execution Time For The Execution Of The Assignment Is Approximately 12 Months, From The Assignment Until The Final Delivery Date On January 31, 2028.
