Tenders are invited for Comprehensive Sampling, Characterization, Testing and Industrial Valorization of Stone Slurry (Roba) Service Location: Bethlehem, Hebron Tender Description Comprehensive Sampling, Characterization, Testing and Industrial Valorization of Stone Slurry (Roba) in Al-Fahs Area Hebron Governorate The stone and marble industry represents one of the most strategic industrial sectors in Palestine and constitutes a major contributor to industrial production, employment, exports, and regional economic development. The production process generates significant quantities of stone slurry (Roba), consisting of ultra-fine limestone particles mixed with water and process residues. Despite the large volumes generated annually, the utilization of slurry remains limited and fragmented due to the lack of comprehensive scientific characterization and the absence of validated industrial applications. Recognizing the negative impact of stone slurry on environment, and its potential as a valuable secondary raw material, this assignment seeks to conduct a comprehensive scientific investigation of slurry generated within Al-Fahs industrial cluster in Hebron Governorate and assess its suitability for incorporation into industrial products. The study aims to establish a complete scientific database on the chemical and geotechnical characteristics of slurry and associated stone materials and translate the findings into practical industrial formulations and manufacturing opportunities. Overall Objective To scientifically characterize stone slurry and associated stone materials generated within Al-Fahs area and to identify commercially viable products that can be manufactured using slurry as a direct or partial raw material through the development of validated industrial formulations and production recommendations. Specific Objectives For the purpose of reviewing the repurposing options of the limestone and marble slurry waste resulted from Stone and Marble Industry, there is a need to held a contract with local laboratory in order to implement a set of chemical and geotechnical tests for samples of slurries resulted from stone and marble facilities in Al Fahs area in Hebron governorate, and testing of the industrial compatibility and the preliminary validation of possible formulations for products that demonstrate high compatibility with slurry (analyze a set of main products in order to decide which elements among these products can be scientifically and practically replaced by stone and marble slurry, and according to which formulas).
