Tenders Are Invited For Ddpt083 Installation, Maintenance And Dismantling Of The Matlock Bath Illuminations’ Lighting

Derbyshire Dales District Council (The Council) Is Seeking A Single Supplier To Erect, Maintain And Dismantle The Decorative Lights For The 2027, 2028 And 2029 Matlock Bath Illuminations Event.Matlock Bath Illuminations Is A Family Event Which Operates Within Derwent Gardens, The Water Gardens And Lovers' Walks Areas Located On The South Side Of The Village In Matlock Bath. The Requirements Include The Utilisation Of Wiring, Switchgear, Flood Lamps And Fluorescent Tubes To Effectively And Safely Light The Natural Features Of The Area And Provide Electrical Support On Event Nights.The Event Takes Place Over 8 Weekends During September And October And Occasionally November. Each Year Will Consist Of 16 Nights; The Provisional 2027 Event Dates Are:Saturday 11, 18, 25, September & 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Octobersunday 19, 26 September, 3, 10, 17, 24 And 31 October Friday 29 Octoberconfirmed Event Night Dates Will Be Notified In March Each Year.The Event Sells Approximately 50,000 Tickets During The Season (Dependant On Cancellation Due To Weather Conditions).The Initial Contract Period Is 27 Months, To Cover The 2027, 2028 And 2029 Events. The Contract Is Estimated To Commence 16 August 2027 And Expire 30 November 2029. There Will Be An Option To Extend The Contract For Two Years In Annual Increments, Subject To Satisfactory Performance And Business Needs.
