Knmi Intends To Issue A Tender With The Aim Of Contracting A Manufacturer/Supplier That Supplies Temperature Sensors. As Part Of The Purchase Of New Sensors, An Extensive Validation Process Is Necessary. This Process Is Intended To Carefully Substantiate Any Differences Within The Measurement Data Compared To The Current Situation To Internal And External Customers Who Use The Data For Climate Studies, Issuing Warnings, Numerical Weather Models And Presentation In Weather Apps, Among Other Things. The Validation Process Must Cover All Seasonal And Location Influences And Therefore Has A Lead Time Of At Least One (1) Year. The Scope Of The Contract Concerns: - The Purchase Of An Initial Number Of 220 Temperature Sensors; - Purchase Of Any Follow-Up Batches Will Be Done In Consultation, With The Condition That A Minimum Order Never Exceeds Of Fifty (50) Pieces; - Third-Line Maintenance. The Financial Size Is Estimated At: - € 220,000.00 Excluding Vat For The Purchase Of 220 Temperature Sensors; - € 22,000.00 Excluding Vat For The Annual Periodic Third-Line Maintenance And Corrective Maintenance. The Estimated Value Over The Term Of The Agreement Including Extensions Is €1,500,000.00 Excluding Vat. The Estimated Value Takes Into Account: - The Long Intended Duration, Technical Lifespan Useful Lifetime Of The Sensors And Thus Replacement Of The Sensor Network; - Indexations; - Possible Extensions. The Contracting Authority Has Made The Most Accurate Estimate Possible Of The Scope Of The Agreement. The Actual Purchase Is Not Guaranteed.
